Paula uses her fav promotional shot in Life & Style to talk about the pressures of looking perfect in the entertainment industry this week. This is the same LBD she wore on her series ‘Live To Dance’ and was shot by Fox for a number of promotional purposes for The X Factor. Pairing her flapper style mini with chunky black platform heels and a chunky gold & black necklace I don’t think Paula has to be worrying about her appearance anytime soon. However as a Fashion Stylist and someone very much in the industry she has a great point. This unnatural thinness of models and many people in the industry is a terrible message to send out. The promotion of the thin, sexy ideal in our culture has created a situation where the majority of girls and women don’t like their body which is really sad. Trust me most editorial images and all an illusion and women come in lots of different sizes and shapes, and we should encourage and celebrate that – being happy is the most important thing.
